All young men and young women turning 12 in 2025 and older are invited! Graduating seniors may also attend. We want you there!
  • Can adults attend?
Adults may attend if they have a specific responsibility at the event. All ward youth leaders may attend and will receive individual assignments as designated.
  • When does registration begin? How do I register?
Registration begins on January 12th. Online registration AND the church's medical release form MUST be completed and turned in by May 4th. Please complete the online registration and turn in your medical release form to your ward leaders.
  • What is the fee for the youth to attend Moroni's Quest and how do I pay?
The youth fee is $75. Please pay through the donation slip in your ward/branch unit and in the other column write “Stake Moroni’s Quest.” Wards may do one fundraiser to assist families in paying the fee. Please check with your ward leaders to see if a fundraiser will be planned for your ward.

The youth will need dropped off at the Hermiston Stake Center at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9th. The stake will provide transportation to and from Teancum Timbers. We plan to tentatively return to the Stake Center on Saturday, July 12th at 3:00 p.m.
  • What is the dress code?
All Moroni’s Quest participants - youth, leaders, camp directors, cooks, bishops, and any others who visit the camp - should dress in Book of Mormon-type clothing at all times. Each person attending the event will need two outfits. Clothing should be simple and inexpensive. Be resourceful. Where possible, use or reuse items you already have. Parents and youth are responsible for creating their own costumes. Specific clothing information, guidelines, patterns, and ideas can be found on the homepage by clicking the clothing icon.
  • What should I bring to Moroni's Quest?
A complete packing list can be found on the homepage by clicking the packing list icon.
  • Can I bring my cell phone to Moroni’s Quest?
Cell phone use will not be allowed. We are asking for parents to help us keep cell phones at home. This is a special week when our youth can be “unplugged” and leave the forces of the world behind. We know this time to quiet things down and not be bombarded with social media, messaging apps, gaming, and all the other interruptions helps invite the spirit into our camp and allows our youth to have stronger spiritual experiences throughout the week. Thank you for your help with this!
  • How can I prepare for Moroni’s Quest?
Each ward is assigned reenactments from the Book of Mormon to perform while at Moroni’s Quest. We encourage all youth attending to participate in preparing, practicing, and performing in these reenactments. Join in the fun of bringing the Book of Mormon to life! Additionally, we encourage you to prepare spiritually by reading the Book of Mormon and studying the stories found within its pages over the next six months leading up to Moroni’s Quest. President Ezra Taft Benson said, “There is a power in the Book of Mormon which will begin to flow into your lives the moment you begin a serious study of the book. You will find greater power to resist temptation. You will find the power to avoid deception. You will find the power to stay on the straight and narrow path.” We hope your experiences at Moroni’s Quest will help you find this power, too.
